When you’re planning to undergo a significant cosmetic procedure, having a private consultation with your plastic surgeon is an integral part of the process. This meeting is your chance to learn more about the treatment, get answers to your questions, and discuss your specific needs and goals with the doctor. Unfortunately, if you’re an out-of-town patient traveling to our clinic in Washington, DC for a procedure, meeting with Dr. Forman for your initial consultation is likely impractical. For these situations, Dr. Forman offers comprehensive virtual consultations.

The Virtual Consultation Process

We know how stressful it can be to travel out of state for cosmetic surgery, which is why our team members do everything they can to make the virtual consultation process simple and convenient. During your call to our office, a friendly member of our staff will take down your information, ask you a few questions about your situation, and help you schedule your virtual consultation with Dr. Forman. To hold your appointment, you will need to provide your credit card information.

Before your consultation, we may ask you to fill out patient forms and submit photographs of the area or areas that you want to have treated. This will give Dr. Forman a chance to prepare for the consultation and get an idea of your unique needs.

When the time of your virtual consultation arrives, you will meet with Dr. Forman through a video chat from the comfort of your own home.

During your virtual consultation, Dr. Forman will discuss your treatment options with you and ask you questions about your specific aesthetic goals. Additionally, he'll provide informative, honest answers to all of your questions and go over the cost of the treatment with you. If you decide that you'd like to proceed with the procedure, you and Dr. Forman will then work together to devise a detailed treatment plan that will address your needs and allow you to achieve the results you desire.

Are Virtual Consultations Only for Traveling Patients?

Not at all! Although our virtual consultations are most common for out-of-town patients, we make them available to anyone unable to come in for an in-person consultation for any reason. Whether you need to stay home due to health issues, time limitations, or any other obstacle, Dr. Forman is happy to meet with you virtually.
